Why join our bank staff?

Bank Workers may be required to cover any short-term staff shortages, to help meet variations in activity levels as well as provide specific skills for a short period of time. Bank working provides temporary cover for wards, departments and community services.

Staff groups employed include nurses, healthcare assistants and admin and clerical staff.

We operate from 6 localities so you can choose the area that works best for you.

What we can offer you…

Flexibility- Shift patterns – we offer a variety of shift patterns, from long days to traditional 7.5 hours on weekends and weekdays. You could work for a few days, a few weeks or for a number of months.

Competitive rates of pay- including enhanced pay for unsociable hours.

What we ask of you…

You must carry out a minimum number of shifts:

Clinical Bank Workers – To ensure professional practice and competence is up to date a minimum of 6 assignments must be undertaken in each period of 3 months and you must attend any training you are notified of. It is your responsibility to provide evidence that your professional practice is up to date.

Non-clinical Bank Workers – A minimum of 1 assignment must be undertaken in a 6 month period and you must attend any training you are notified of.

DBS Check

If the position being applied for requires a DBS check to be undertaken on you, you are required to pay the fee for the DBS check.
