Our Group will mean we can deliver better care for patients and a better experience for staff through joint working. The Group will build on the strong foundations that already exist to continue to strengthen local services, improve resilience and performance and deliver value for taxpayers.
We are making good progress on our improvement journey. We know we have more to do to get to where we want to be, and we know how we are going to get there.
We are aiming higher than good – we want to be excellent.
You can find out more about the Group model in our short animation and Case for Change document.

What does a Group model mean?
The two organisations have a Group Chief Executive (CEO), Jo Williams, and Group Chair, Andrew Morgan.
Working as a Group will also mean shared Executives and Non-Executive Directors across both organisations. Visit our Board webpage to find out more.
Many NHS trusts have formed Group models in their areas, including Lincolnshire and Walsall.
Becoming a Group means that the Trusts will stay as two separate statutory organisations.
How will this affect my care?
These changes mainly affect our Board and leadership (the way we manage our hospitals and services). Over time we hope patients and staff will see benefits through joint working leading to better care for everyone.
