ShropCom Star Awards – A Fantastic Night Celebrating the People of Shropshire Community Health Trust

The evening saw all finalists receive the recognition they deserve and was a night that reminded everyone of the special community of people who work at ShropCom.

Patricia Davies, Chief Executive said;

“What a night to remember! It was fantastic to come together to recognise and celebrate the fabulous folk of our Trust. I want to give my congratulations to the winners, highly commended and shortlisted finalists. They are all a true inspiration. I also want to acknowledge everyone who took the time to nominate colleagues and all those who were nominated. In my eyes everyone who works here at ShropCom is a star and it is a privilege to work with them all.”

The evening, hosted by Carl Jones was watched live by hundreds of staff across the Trust, with some members of staff, like Kate Medhurst (pictured), so eager not to miss it, they watched on their laptop in the back of their car whilst at their children’s football match.

Local solo artist Dave Busby provided the entertainment for the evening and those watching the event were able to get involved with the event through the Trusts social media feed. From the comments received on the night, it was an evening enjoyed by all.

Angie Wallace, Chief Operating Officer said:

“Such an amazing night celebrating the incredible people of our Trust. Thank you to everyone who took part and a huge congratulations to all of our finalists. We have a truly unique mix of talented people here at ShropCom and this was shown by the 250 plus nominations we received. I continue to feel incredibly proud of them all and their achievements.”

We are already looking forward to the ShropCom Star Awards 2023.
