NHS Recruitment Drive to Boost Local Community Healthcare Jobs

A range of healthcare jobs are up for grabs in South West Shropshire at a special Open Day later this week.
The one-day recruitment event has been organised by Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust. It takes place tomorrow (Thursday 7 April) and will highlight all current NHS roles available in Ludlow and Bishop’s Castle’s Community Hospitals, as well as in the locality’s community services.
Attendees can find out more about the range of positions on offer, with the opportunity to interview for their ideal NHS community job and leave with a conditional offer.
Clair Hobbs, Director of Nursing and Allied Health Professionals at Shropshire Community Health, said: “We are incredibly excited about the event and are looking forward to meeting with the potential NHS employees of the future.
“It is no secret that we have found it challenging to recruit the staff we need in this part of the county, and we hope this recruitment day will attract people who might not otherwise have thought about joining us.
“We want the event to provide local candidates with the ability to fast-track their career with the NHS. Therefore, we will be conducting interviews during the event giving successful candidates the opportunity to leave with a conditional job offer.”
Throughout the day, attendees will learn about the variety of full and part-time roles available. They will be able to chat to NHS staff in attendance and discover the numerous benefits of being part of their local NHS family.
