For the second year running, the meeting will be held virtually – being broadcast via Microsoft Teams.

It will be live from 10am today and anyone is able to attend.

The meeting will reflect on the financial year 2020-21 – twelve months in which the organisation was hugely impacted by the pandemic, which forced health and care services to be delivered in different ways in order to protect the safety of staff and patients alike.

Following the usual AGM format, the meeting will feature a presentation from Chief Executive Patricia Davies, who will reflect on the highs and lows of 2020-21, as well as looking to the future.

Deputy Director of Nursing and Quality Samantha Young will also present on the Trust’s Quality Account for the same year, while Director of Finance Sarah Lloyd will present the Annual Accounts.

The meeting will also include an update from guest speaker Mark Brandreth, Executive Lead for the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Integrated Care System (ICS). Mark will talk about the role of the ICS and the progress towards it becoming a statutory body from April next year.
