Announcement of Covid-19 related death

Sadly we can confirm that seven patients who were being cared for in Community Hospitals run by Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust, and had tested positive for COVID-19, have died during the coronavirus pandemic.
This includes one patient whose deaths has been announced today (Tuesday 5 May).
Their family have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.

- The media are asked to respect the wishes of the family / families, and the interests of staff at our hospitals to avoid any disruption to operational services.
