A range of jobs are up for grabs at a special Recruitment Day taking place in South Shropshire later this month.

The day takes place at Ludlow Community Hospital on Wednesday 19 June (9am to 3pm) –and there are a vast range of jobs on offer.
These include a physiotherapist role in the South West Community Neighbourhood Team, as well as a range of clinical and non-clinical roles at the Community Hospitals in Ludlow and Bishop’s Castle.
The opportunities at the two community hospitals include permanent Staff Nurse, Healthcare Assistant and Emergency Practitioner roles. There are also Bank Staff opportunities for Healthcare Assistants, a Porter, a Domestic Assistant and a Radiographer.

Candidates can attend on the day without having applied in advance and will be able to talk to teams about the roles, but cannot be guaranteed an interview if no spaces are available.
Katie Turton, Locality Manager for the South West, said: “This Recruitment Day is an excellent opportunity to find out all about the current vacancies we have on offer here in the South West of Shropshire for clinical and non-clinical staff.
“It really is a beautiful area to work in, and we have people who travel from areas including Shrewsbury and Newtown to work with us. It’s such a picturesque part of the world and I certainly feel very privileged to work here.
“I would really like people to use the recruitment day as an opportunity to come and see just how much we have to offer.
“We’re a friendly team – if you think you might like to work with us, then why not come along and find out what we’re all about?”
Leanne Morgan, Ward Manager at Bishop’s Castle Community Hospital, is eager to encourage people to join the team - highlighting their focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
“Since starting in my role, I have been so impressed by the high standards of care, our patients and their families receive,” she said. “We are a very close-knit team and really support each other and this has an impact on what we are able to achieve on the ward.”
