The Francis Inquiry

Robert Francis QC has recently published his Inquiry report into Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust. This is receiving a lot of high profile media coverage.

There were a number of key messages that were given in his speech, which include an acknowledgement of failure not only at the Trust, but also system wide. He did balance that view with an understanding that many staff that provide care do it well across a number of NHS organisations. For more information, please see The Francis Inquiry web page.
